El Rito Campus Gallery Type of work:Fiber Arts Studio Open house and tours begin on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 9:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 21 campus will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. The fiber artists are exhibiting works primarily in the Rio Grande traditional styles of Hispanic and Native American weavers, full of color and intricate designs. Also on display are an assortment of richly textured rag rugs and unusual mixed fiber and natural material wall hangings. All fiber arts pieces will be displayed in the Fiber Arts studio where weaving demonstrations will be ongoing throughout tour hours. |
