Artist Statement: Molly Hennerty White grew up in El Rito, attending El Rito Elementary and Mesa Vista Junior High, graduating from Pojoaque High School.  She spent her junior year of high school as an AFS exchange student in Copenhagen, Denmark.  She attended UNM, earning a BFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in jewelry and small metals construction.  She then worked for several jewelers, including Pat Garrett, an internationally known jeweler.  She now lives in Albuquerque with her husband and two children, making jewelry and teaching handwork in a charter elementary school.
