Artist Statement: Julie Claire has lived in New Mexico for twenty years and for the last ten years she and her husband have called El Rito their home. With a background in singing, songwriting and performance, she is currently immersed in the expressive art of intuitive painting, leads intuitive process painting workshops, and is an ontological life coach. “Intuitive painting for me is a mystical path of connecting to the natural flow of the moment: letting life unfold, getting out of the way. Painting big allows me to live big. There is no separation between how I paint and how I live.”
